GROWTH DEPT.

Terms of service

The terms, in plain words.

How growthdept.ai, the Growth Dept Admin application and the accounts brands connect to it may be used. Effective 20 October 2026.

Who these terms are for

Growth Dept is the trading name of Holden Growth, LLC. These terms apply to the growthdept.ai website and to the Growth Dept Admin application, including the pages brands use to connect their accounts and the Growth Dept apps our staff sign in to it with. The application is provided to Growth Dept staff, to client brands and to people Growth Dept has authorised. Client engagements are governed by the written agreement for that engagement; where the two differ, that agreement wins.

Your account and the accounts you connect

You are responsible for the Google, Meta and other accounts you sign in with or connect, and for making sure you are allowed to connect them for the business you connect them for. You can disconnect an account at any time inside the application or by emailing us, and you can revoke Growth Dept’s access from your Google or Facebook account settings.

Connecting Meta, Google and other platforms

When you connect a business’s ad, social or commerce account, you authorise Growth Dept to read the accounts you select and, where you grant management permissions, to make the changes your team approves. We change nothing in a connected account without approval from a named person on your team or limits your team has set.

Those platforms’ own terms still apply to your accounts, including the Meta Terms of Service and Meta’s advertising policies for Facebook and Instagram, and Google’s terms for Google accounts. What we do with the data these connections return is described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

  • Use the application only for Growth Dept work you are authorised to do.
  • Do not connect accounts, calendars or data you do not have the right to connect.
  • Do not try to reach other people’s data, bypass access controls or disrupt the service.

What the calendar feature does

The calendar feature copies events between calendars you own and writes busy blocks on your other linked calendars. It only changes events it created itself. Copies can lag the original by a few minutes, and a change made directly to a copy is overwritten by the next sync. Keep the original event as the source of truth.

Availability and warranties

The website and the application are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, and may change or pause without notice. Growth Dept is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from their use, to the extent the law allows.

Privacy

How we handle personal data, including Google and Meta account data, is described in the privacy policy.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version is always at growthdept.ai/policies/terms-of-service with its effective date. Questions go to hello@growthdept.ai.
