Every night your horse stands in a stall for 10 to 12 hours. Every night the circulation to the most inflammation-prone tissue in their lower leg nearly stops. Every morning you wonder why nothing fully resolves. This is why. The hoof pump is the mechanism that drives blood through the lower leg and hoof. Every step your horse takes, the hoof capsule expands and contracts, pushing blood through the structures below the fetlock. It works exactly like a pump. The moment your horse stops moving and goes into a stall, that pump stops. For the next 10 to 12 hours, the coronary band, the laminae, the digital cushion, and the surrounding soft tissue sit with almost no active circulation reaching them. Whatever inflammation built up during the day has nowhere to go. The tissue that most needs blood flow is getting the least. Cold hosing after rides helps during the first hour or two. Supplements provide the nutrients. Corrective shoeing manages the load. None of them work during the overnight stall period when the pump has stopped. That is the window nothing in a standard management protocol covers. The HaloLegs Mini delivers 660 nanometer and 850 nanometer light directly through the hoof capsule to the structures inside. It stimulates circulation to the coronary band and laminae without the horse needing to move. Applied for 15 minutes every morning during feed, it addresses the overnight deficit that every other approach misses. I started using it on my mare eight
